Dr Widenmeyer

Hello! My name is John C. Widenmeyer V.M.D. I am the owner and president of Flowers Mill Veterinary Hospital. I was raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where I attended and graduated from The George School. I earned my B.S. in 1973 from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. In 1977 I graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine

and upon graduation founded FMVH. Since that time, I have worked full-time at the hospital in clinics and surgery as well as handling the business concerns of the practice. I continue to pursue my various interests in medicine and surgery on domestic pets including assorted pocket pets. I am a member of several veterinary organizations including PVMA, and AVMA.

I have been married to my wife Debbie for over 15 years and have three great children; Connor, Brad, and Katie. We have two dogs; an Australian Shepherd and a Golden Retriever, two cats. My personal time is focused almost entirely on my family, raising my children and spending time with my wife. I am involved as a financial advisor for my church. My hobbies are golfing, sporting clays, and especially ice hockey. Not only do I skate, but I have been very involved in managing my son’s bantam hockey team. I was president of The Grundy Senators Ice Hockey Club for almost three years prior to my children moving up to The New Jersey Kings and The New Jersey Stars organizations.
